THIS IS A BIG DEAL
Is Paris really the city of love, or is that just a typical marketing strategy to lure in tourists? lol.
Feeding into the cliché, I took my first trip out of the UK to Paris since 2017!
That might not sound like a long time as I understand some people cannot take holiday let alone leave the country. But, for me this is a big deal.
Ever since I became my own woman and financially financially support myself, I have made it my mission to leave the country at least once a year.
That said, over valentines the boyf decided to fly us to Paris for a couple days. I love Paris and since he had never been before, it was a perfect getaway to end the holiday hiatus.
I wanted to show him EVERYTHING! This meant early morning walks to the boulangerie and doing all the 'touristy things' like; trips up the Eiffel tour, visiting the Notre dame, a night time canal cruise along the Sienne river, taking a perspective picture at the louvre and locating a Sephora on the Champs-Élysées
There are many reasons why I love this city:
- it is so much more cleaner than London
- Food, Food, Food
- Picturesque
- Easy to get around
If you are on the hunt for a good city break, I think the city of Paris has a lot to offer!
